Meg McRee is a Nashville-based writer and artist. After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2018, she began a job waiting tables and started playing her songs at writer’s nights across town. She quickly garnered respect from the songwriting community and has been plugged in writing for other artists and pursuing her own artistry ever since. She has earned cuts with Marcus King, Grace Potter, Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, Ashley Monroe, Evan Honer, Elle King, Brent Cobb, Ben Chapman, and more, along with sync placements in TV/film (Landman, Netflix’s the Waterfront, etc.).
As an artist, she has toured with Lainey Wilson, Ashley McBryde, Morgan Wade, Ella Langley, Marcus King, Hailey Whitters, Lukas Nelson, Flatland Cavalry, Brent Cobb, Red Clay Strays, and more - in addition to making appearances at the Grand Ole Opry and major festivals like Stagecoach and Pilgrimage. Meg is currently working on her sophomore album - a follow up to her full-length debut “Is It Just Me?” and live acoustic EP “History of Heartbreak.”
